I was in recently because I broke my crown. The doctor and staff took time to explain what had happened and discuss my options. They were able to fit me for a new crown during the same appointment. I needed a root canal done and a crown. They fixed the problem same day and I was fitted for the crown. Before they did the procedure the wonderful office staff looked at my insurance and gave me an estimate. I love that I know roughly what I will be paying. My seven-year-old son was allowed to stay in the room. He watched and had a few questions, which Dr. Kyle and his lovely assistant answered. The staff was great about letting my son know he did a wonderful job being patient. As always, they are professional and genuinely care about patients. I appreciate that they could help me out right away. Also, I didn’t feel the numbing shot this time. Dr. Kyle somehow made that happen. Magic…. –

They worked with me to accommodate me with my other appointments I would need as well. All will be done before my flex rolls over. My visit with the hygienist was great. It did not require immediate care which would have been costly. They allowed me to have the opportunity to decide what was best for my situation with options for my dental care. I have terrible dental anxiety and like many people, the dentist’s office is not my favorite place. Personal Care Dentistry goes out of their way to make sure I am as comfortable as possible. They take notes of my preferences and strive to make my dental experiences welcoming and pleasant. My hygienist knows me by name and communicates with me throughout the procedure. All dental procedures have been conducted in a professional and understanding manner. Scheduling is always great and I’ve always been able to schedule both routine cleanings and emergency dental work in convenient time frames. Front desk and billing are always welcoming and helpful, and insurance/billing coordinators are accurate and assist me in securing insurance billing. Even though I now live across the Twin Cities, I keep Personal Care Dentistry as my main dentist because of the excellent care I receive.

This is the best dentistry I have ever been. Fast check in when you arrive at the front desk, short waiting time and then friendly and very skilled professional service. Today was only a visit for cleaning my teeth and taking X-ray and everything went fine as I follow their advice regarding brushing, flossing, using a water pick and returning twice a year. It is a pity that I only started visiting Dr. Hunt 13 years ago, I wish I had that quality of service when I was a kid and could had grown up with better teeth than what I have today. In the middle of the night last night one of my crowns fell out. Called Personal Care Dentistry first thing when they opened, got an afternoon appointment, and got it fixed the same day. That’s all good and the professional team did a great job. I was expecting to be told that I’d need an implant due to the size and age of the original cavity. Imagine my surprise when I was told they could in this case simply re-attach the existing onlay crown. So Personal Care Dentistry is friendly, professional, and ethical. I’m a patient for life!

I recently visited Personal Care Dentistry for an aching tooth. I was able to get an appointment quickly and while the visit was short, an X-ray was able to confirm that I either need a root canal or that the tooth might be cracked. I was referred to an endodontist and was in and out quickly with referral in-hand and a prescription for an antibiotic to fight the infection that had developed. I like that they take the time to explain things and get to know patients. Service is always courteous and the staff is helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Personal Care Dentistry.

I had my second ever root canal today, my first being at a different dentist. The previous root canal ended with me having a panic attack and today I informed the dental assistant at of that at the beginning of my appointment (through tears). I was embarrassed to be so upset, but she was so kind and offered many solutions to my anxiety (blankets, music). The Novocain wasn’t working as well as expected, so the dentist made sure to stop twice and administer more to ensure my comfort. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but certainly was not their fault (I had an infection) and they were very kind and understanding. This is a very compassionate dental practice and I would recommend it to anyone who has anxieties about visiting the dentist.

She always recognizes me and chats me up (now I forgot her name). 3) Waiting is minimal. If the patient is on time, the wait time is never more than 10 minutes. 4) ALL staff are professional and courteous. Dentists are always in training and improving their dental skills. 5) When I have to get in for an emergency (toothache or loose crown), I can get in within a day or less. 6) Dr. Walter Hunt has been my dentist for 30+ years. He is my exact age. We have aged together. He has not lost a step yet. And, he relates to me with personal experiences that I enjoy to hear. He is not a bad guy. Overall, I can rate the entire operation (as a professor for 37 years) as Grade A+++.

My first impression was of the waiting room, which was very nice, clean and inviting. The front desk employees were very pleasant and got me started on your system of on-line check-in. The dental hygienist was very nice and did an excellent job on my teeth. I especially liked that she announced, along the way what she was doing. Like, when she said, she was almost done with the bottom teeth, would next be polishing, etc. The Dentist was pleased with the care of my teeth, and I appreciated hearing it. Very impressed with your offices.

Great care and they work around my schedule and will let you pick your staff or let you pick appointments based on your schedule (don’t have to book your same hygienist/dentist) rarely have to wait to get in for an appointment or when I arrive for an appointment (the main complaint from my last dental office). I have one small complaint…every time I have to wait to pay or get a quote. This could totally be done with saving my card or emailing a quote. Waiting 5 to 10 extra minutes makes me later to work (granted the hours are great too so really they are so accommodating). Totally a small issue but a quick process improvement idea ?

All the staff are polite and personable. You can tell it is a good work environment for them. Staff are knowledgeable and eager to help. I am in the National Guard and they have copies of the specific form we need to have filled out and handed in to our unit showing our dental readiness level. My wife and I have three kids ranging from 9-3 and the staff work well and flexibly with them even with the little kid fears. I have always found it easy enough to get an appointment for both urgent and routine. I referred a colleague and she was also happy with the care and service.

Recently moved to the Twin Cities from Chicago and needed to find a new dentist. This place far exceeded my expectations. The whole facility was very clean and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I was only in the waiting room for maybe five minutes before my hygienist came and got me.
